Paypal Cryptocurrency

PayPal has partnered with cryptocurrency company Paxos to launch a new service. PayPal plans to support Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin at first. PayPal users in the U.S. will soon be able to buy, hold and sell cryptocurrencies. More countries are coming soon and you’ll be able to connect to your PayPal account to buy and sell cryptocurrencies. This could be a good way to use cryptocurrencies for everyday purchases without having to convert cryptocurrencies on an exchange first. PayPal’s crypto service is rolling out progressively. Everybody should be able to access crypto-related features within the next month or so. In early 2021, PayPal wants to let you use your crypto assets as a funding source for your PayPal purchases. As part of this offering, PayPal will provide accountholders with educational content to help them understand the cryptocurrency ecosystem, the risks and opportunities related to investing in cryptocurrency, and information on blockchain technology. In addition to providing these significant cryptocurrency services, PayPal has been exploring the potential of digital currencies through partnerships with licensed and regulated cryptocurrency platforms and with central banks around the world.
